I must admit that my greatest 'fear' regarding this pokemon was his 3-D overhaul - a fear fueled further with intial grunts and squeaks about how X/Y merely recycles models from Pokedex 3D Pro.

Thankfully, GF did a great job on this one. It is amazing how very subtle differences make one model infinitely superior to the other.

Perhaps that is the case. And kind of relief, too - seeing how abysmal they were while keeping in mind that VI-gen has some similarities to the ones you posted.
