A buff to Psychic is a buff to Tapu Lele, Alakazam, Latios, Latias, Slowbro, Victini, Jirachi, Reuniclus, not to mention various ubers like Necrozma-Dusk Mane, Lunala, Mewtwo, Deoxys...
You definitely wouldn't want that to happen if you were actually knowledgeable about the meta, especially if we are talking about offensive buff (doubly so if we are talking about something utterly retarded like removing the Steel resistance which would reduce Tapu Lele switchins to exactly zero)

Reminder that aside from Lando itself, only Electric shitters relied on HP Ice to kill Lando, the rest of the metagame that could deal with it either 2HKO'd or even OHKO'd it through raw strength or had actual Ice moves.

Close Combat is so important by simply existing that pokemon rise or fall by its grace.
