In theory, I'd go for the top, but I fear that would look too serpent-like and empty, so third is what I'd go with if we stick to that pose.
Also reposting mine without the tail, which shows just how many things are still wrong with it. I think it's too thin, but the only way to resolve that I can think of is having it lean further back [and then maybe have the tail curled lower and less visible?].
