I never noticed this for years but can we talk about how cool it is that Shedinja's wings aren't actual wings? It's just the torn exoskeleton from when the Nincada shed it and left it behind, that's roughly what it looks like when real cincadas do this. They shed their exoskeleton by tearing a hole out of the back and leaving it splayed out that way.
