It's funny, Animal Crossing has had quite a few duplication glitches in the game and they're usually fixed in a few days.
Something like thats so egregious that you can clone entire boxes, or force pokemon to become shiny sounds like something is really fucked with the code. I'm sure the menu glitch thing is the first thing they'll fix.
But part of me also wonders if they do actually care. I was talking with a friend last night about the VCG and how pretty much every player in competitive Pokemon is using hacked mons and its kind of an open secret. TPCI doesn't seem to really care as long as they look legitimate for the most part and plus it has people tuning into livestreams or bringing people to the venues to buy merch and shit.
Whats the difference to them if there's some bugs and glitches when they're making money hand over fist on it?
