First off, both versions are missing the prominent pectoral muscles, which I makes the chest and stomach region look very odd. Add that shit in immediately.
The head is another issue. First off, Aguanaut has a somewhat defined jaw that I think is missing in both versions. The drawn jaw ends rather prematurely and the shading makes it look like its just merged with body. Extend/define the jaw and make sure the shading cuts off there. Old has a slightly better head position than the new one because his chin should not be resting directly on the chest. Head should also be even or slightly lower than the "hump" on the upper back.
The shoulders are really tricky to get. Aguanaut has "shoulders" but they aren't really defined separately from the main body like you have in both versions. There is an upper arm that comes out of the shoulder before the salt fist though, so make sure that's included.
There are more small tweaks that could be made, but hit those big ones first.
