Kalos is so uniquely shit simply because of how unfinished it is compared to every other region by having Z dropped for SM. Along with the Hoopa and Diancie locations you mentioned you can't forget Volcanion being tied to the Kalos Power Plant with a locked room having heavy steam coming out of it. Obviously meant to be a location to encounter Volcanion
