>>48590574>Temple KingdraAnother underwater battle. Its, um, team - Seaking, Dragalge, Clawitzer, Poliwrath, Corsola, and Kingdra itself. Thankfully, easier than Neptune. Amoonguss leads and walls Seaking, Sporing and killing it. Dragalge's out, I Spore that after taking a heavy Sludge Bomb, send in Gardevoir with a Seed to turn Water type. I DO risk a 1 turn sleep into crit here from the Dragalge with a Calm Mind but it's totally worth it - allows me to murder Dragalge w/ Psychic, Poliwrath and Corsola with Thunderbolt, Kingdra with Moonblast, and then send in Seeded Heliolisk to Clawitzer's Water Pulse, outspeed and kill it with Thunderbolt. The nice thing about being underwater is it does double the power of electric moves, but still, fuck this field.
>KawopudungaThis is a heavily beefed up Wailord with 3 Dynamax shields and a boatload of HP. I'm assisted by Goomink in this fight. Yes, this is a Zelda reference, this quest is basically helping Link who's a Goomy get stronger so he can protect Princess Goomelda. It's charming even if honestly pretty silly. Anyway this is a fairly simple fight. I can't Toxic it thanks to Water Veil acting as a permanent Safeguard against all status underwater, but it's not needed. Goomink dies early, but he draws attacks away from lead Primarina so I can debuff the thing's stats then swap between Heliolisk and Lanturn to slowly chip down its gigantic HP bar, even with buffed electric attacks it takes a long time and I do risk a few crits though we make out fine. Last fucking underwater battle too, yay.
Though there's been a lot of losses, nabbing Snorlax and the first pseudolegend of the run (Goomy) will hopefully make what's left bearable. Fuck, I can't imagine doing this all again in an even harder mode, or even just the next version of this game.
>>48591070>good stuff for making it throughThanks, and you too. Venomoth and Clefable are two cool as fuck mons you never see often in FRLG runs, be curious to see how you use em
