the next best alternative (which i'm hoping for) is a rapid spin equivalent with a much higher distribution; preferably one that doesn't do damage so that pokemon can't be immune to it (caveat obviously being taunt fucks it)
scald's burn rate reduced to 20%. seriously, 80 BP is very respectable, but a 30% burn chance on top of that? fuck off.
just get rid of team preview altogether. it's not a good mechanic.
