>>51603589>>51610385I haven't touched my White Nuzlocke in 2 weeks. I still haven't, (sorry) but I was running through a normal Emerald playthrough and I discovered something big for Nuzlockes:
PSA to anyone doing an Emerald run:
Norman is a big-time run-killer, that's well-known. Slaking is a killing machine.
However I just stumbled upon a glaring flaw in his AI.
First off, this proves that his AI reads your inputs. but that's less important.
If you use Counter, his Slaking will NEVER go for Facade. It will go for Yawn or Counter, and I didn't see it go for Faint Attack. It went for Counter on all but one turn.
The Pokémon that have access to Counter by this point are Breloom (Level 28) and Wobbuffet (straight from the Wynaut egg).
Counter + Mach Punch sends Slaking to the Shadow Realm.
I can only presume all of his Pokémon avoid attacking Moves when you use Counter.
And another thing: He doesn't Hyper Potion his Vigoroth. so try to burn those on Linoone and Spinda...or maybe don't burn them at all since Slaking gets smacked so hard.
I think all the Emerald Gym Leader AIs read your inputs, based off this. I might test some things against Winona.
