This run was going so well too but I dont think I'm getting much further.
I usually quit after a wipe, but I fear that if I want to keep this ship alive I have to make a "scouting" party with the intention of dying just to try and find as much pokemon and their moves of norman as possible.
Still think the Slaking will bring down a mon or two regardless of what I do.
