>>40340862I think it's really just supposed to look like a humanoid shadow with long, floppy ears, no eyes, and big tusks in its mouth. It sometimes takes a bit of effort to tell what's going on with some of the sprites in this game. The text can be hard to read too. This is a picture of what Nidoran (male?) looks like. I didn't take a picture of Ratata, but I couldn't even figure out what it was supposed to be.
