If the GOP in California was smart, they'd realize that if you gerrymander NorCal a bit, it'd be a solid red state.
Problem is - the California GOP is pants on head retarded. They managed to go from some elected offices and control of the lower house to losing every single statewide election and letting the Dems get a supermajority in both houses.
Even if they mean well, which I'm not too sure of, the California GOP is fucking retarded.
