>>13070656Only First Gen game I got to play was yellow. I enjoyed Yellow alot. My first pokemom game was iirc, Silver/Crystal. Crystal ment alot to me because it was the first time i actually got a pokemon to level 100. Which was my Espeon. I later picked up Ruby when they were released, and had alot of fun in Hoenn. (Inb4 Hoennbaby) i believe it was around 04 when FireRed released and I completly fell in love with Kanto. Later Diamond/Pearl where releaed and i also picked those up on launchday. Was really dissapointed with the evolutions and generally the game mechanics. Platinum was released and It was a real great game. I also played SoulSilver but it was a major dissapointment. I hadn't felt that dissapointed since i lost my virginity. Never played B/W. But I did play B2/W2. I can't really chose my favorite Gen because they were all good. But i could rank them.
1. Gen 5 (B2/W2)
2. Gen 1 (Fr/Lg/Y)
3. Gen 4 (Pt)
4. Gen 3 (Hoenn in general felt lifeless)
5. Gen 2
Gen 2 only has the nostalgia going for it, Poor level scale, not being able to access all the cool pokes until you get to kanto, etc.
