I never really liked Misty, Brock was awesome and while I still love his steadfastness to try and win over women, it was also brought down by everyone either cockblocking him or him overdoing it at times.
May was awesome, and she's still in my opinion the best voiced character of the whole series - when Veronica Taylor was still apart of it, but Max took away from that series. Also, in Gen 3 and 4 they started really cutting back on the animation effort to the point where at times it felt like I was watchinga slide show.
I liked Dawn, and Sinnoh had awesome battles - and Ash's Infernape - and the mini-arc of the three movies was a cool idea. But everything else was just okay.
I skipped BW, I can't stand to look at Iris, and I can't stand to hear Cilan talk. I do watch it when Alexa shows up though.
I really hope things stay the way they are now. X and Y is just too good.
