>>37388240in addition to this, it allows us as the userbase to test the waters of what is acceptable and what isn't acceptable in the current times due to some images not exactly being SFW or NSFW.
The fabled grey line of /vp/ and other SFW boards. You see there are many fetish images that neither register under SFW or NSFW, and likewise its up to staff to decide whether this is acceptable or not. The rule of thumb is "If the quality of fetish/ grey line image is A: Deviantart Quality or Below or B: Obviously Furry, then its not appropriate for /vp/ given the current staff taste.
Grey line areas that aren't okay right now.
Any vore outside of complete innocent non fetish type
Disgustingly chubby/inflation
Diapers.
Things that are greyline, but are commonly accepted:
Macro/micro that can be relatively risque, but not to the point of lewd.
Upskirts.
Non Pokemon Feet worship.
Butts of all kinds.
This is just a means to understand the staff box, given how there is very little transparency from them to us, and allows us to know what is and isn't okay.
It builds culture and taste, and its always fun to see how this is shifted around when there is a new hire to the board, because 7/10 times, the new person isn't aware of the existing culture or simply does not know what in the world they are doing because they are new in general, not only to /vp/ but most likely 4chan as well.
That is the purpose of the game, to test out the newbies, to have some fun with our staffbox, to test the current flavor, and to ultimately judge the upper staff box in their hiring performance, "Ah, they are hiring good people who know /vp/" or "Ah, they are hiring their friends from xyz connection who may have looked at /vp/ once or twice in the past three years."
