Ruby and Sapphire are phenomenal games even without emerald, unironically, and so are gold and silver. Black and white are pretty good tho I prefer BW2, Diamond and Pearl are alright and are immensely overhated on this board, Sun and Moon are also solid but I hate the overbearing cutscenes and dialogue. Red and blue are good for their time but I can't help but enjoy newer games better. SV are, well, y'know. Unfortunate because I like so much about them but they really are shitty overall. XY is could've been ok but doomed the franchise in the long term. SwSh because no shit they're the worst ever.
Not much different frow how I feel otherwise. I genuinely don't hold third versions in significantly higher regard, they're the same game with some more content and touch ups.
