Losing my Machamp was on me: my Machamp out-leveled her Zubat and I got cocky thinking I could crit with a 1/2x move. Losing Bidoof to her Skuntank's night slash was horrible though; It's hard to get a good ground-type move early game.
Made a new friend. On my previous two runs I got a Cranidos from the underground (whatever fossil I find first) but this time I got a Shieldon. This thing is a TANK but I have no Idea what I'd build on it. Maybe just "buff defense then earthquake a lot"?
Fantina was easy shit; It was just a case of Staravia maxing out evasiveness then sweeping with wing attack. As of writing this, I also smoked Roy (rival). Since the next gym is fighting-type, I can see Swoop cleaning house AGAIN.
