At least they fixed it with Emerald and the remakes
Yeah I know, people were clowning hard on the "double pants" when it first came out, but the design was merely before its time.
I've grown to like em and imagine them being some sort of underlayer for protection from the elements or bugs while walking through tall grass while still being lightweight and allowing airflow.
