As for Serena's hair, of course I'm figuring you're also factoring in her real...well people really bonded with her emotional breakdown (even if I thought it was slightly shallow), and we're absolutely heartstruck with her not only new design (which incorporated Ash's ribbon), but her personality, which went even MORE cute.
When people are saying Iris redeemed, it's already a given the stuff that makes her a shit will be purged.
