I love breeding, I love battling, I love training new Pokemon and raising them to be their best. I love even tiny interactions because they really stick out to me, following Pokemon is everything I've ever needed since Yellow was my first game. I love the idea of creating my own story and imagining scenarios in the Pokemon world. I would spend so much time just messing around in Refresh and making sure my whole team was properly cared for, stuff like that is just so fun for me. Really, I'll probably adore Pokemon for the rest of my life.
But Gamefreak is a fucking shit tier company that's been cutting corners since XY. I've tried time and time again to say "it's not THAT bad, people are just being hyper critical for no reason," but after SM forced me to watch Lillie's story and USUM was a dumpster fire, or how LGPE was a massive middle finger to anyone who was sick of Kanto and lastly how I don't even know if my contest star Mawile can come with me is just too much.
Pokemon is such a huge franchise, I can still enjoy it without giving a fucking dime to Gamefreak. Fuck them and fuck people defending more and more cut content.
