>>51877780To me, Coinmon feels more like an anime-style abstraction of a Mario and Luigi enemy, or something from Yokai Watch or a 60's era cartoon. Yeah, there are some surface level similarities to the reddit alien, but that's a consequence of them both drawing from the same "humanoid alien with antenna" archetype, only drawn tiny and cutesy. Me, personally, I like this little guy and I'm not going to let some website I can choose not to browse live in my head rent free.
