I did, unlike most people apparently, like the old gym system. Sure some pokemon where too common (dragonite, blissey, tyranitar) but if you played GSC against other players most people had them on their team so "gym variety" never really made sense to me since pokemon never had variety back in gen 1 and 2.
I really liked the real time combat pokemon go had and how prestigers made most pokemon kinda useful and how cannonfodder made all pokemon at least usable.
