I don't care if it was the least sold gen and the least popular gen. I guess I have a shit taste or whatever
but for me it has
>Kino story (especially the last battles, I will never forget Ghetsis theme and his Hydreigon)>Awesome soundtrack (N battle theme, Elite 4 battle theme, Colress theme) >Memorable gym leaders (Roxie, Skyla, Elesa, Cheren)>Great elite 4 (Grimsley is awesome)>Some of the best protag designs>Small things I like such as the battle UI shown in >>45451525 just love the slick design and aesthetic>Many good Pokemon such as>Hydreigon>Haxorus>Volcarona>Galvantula>Reuniclus>Chandelure>Escavalier>Bisharp>Whimsicott>LilligantAnd many more. Only thing I didn't like were the starters, which I think to this day are the worst batch we have gotten, but in my opinion the last good starters were in gen 4 anyway. Unova is also a bit lacking and uninteresting as a region. For these reasons it's not my absolute favorite gen, that credit goes to gen 4 (loved Sinnoh as a region and the mythology, Platinum and HG/SS were the best pokemon games for me).
Regardless, to me this was a great gen and I will never stop loving it.
