If anything, all it does after 500 is devalue the existing mons in a game (why would you ever use flygon when garchomp exists? Why would you use Stantler when Scotland exists?)First off, it's about giving the player choice as to what pokemon they want to choose. No pokemon is objectively better than the other. It's all about what you wanna play with. Having all mons in was never about "catching 'em all" for me, it was about choice.
Second off, I like how when defending this game, you use a Pokemon (Garchomp) that has been cut from swsh, claiming it's better than one that's actually in the game (Flygon).
