>>53311606If a new PMD is fully 3D (spoiler: it will be), I genuinely will not give a shit. Gates was awful, and being 3D was one of the bigger issues with it. Super fixed a lot, but has way too many other issues, both in story and gameplay, for me to like it. They tried to mask the 3D with Rescue Team DX and not only did it poorly, but also gimped the gameplay.
This is the direction they're supposedly going, and I'm not on board for this. PMD isn't for me anymore, and I've accepted that. I'll just wait for Explorers romhacking to develop out of its infancy (and it's progressing nicely, honestly) and play all the cool fangames sporting shitty fanfic stories with the gameplay I actually enjoy.
