why are you cunts mad over a video game? they were never pets, bros, part of your family, waifu, husbando or whatnot. they're fictional characters created by autistic spergs, for the sake of marketing and entertainment. that's all they are at the end of the day; fictional characters that have borderline no personality outside of an index created by the same autistic spergs with no writing experience. all serving the same functionality of marketing and entertainment. you may argue that they aren't characters, but creatures. however, a monster in a story is still considered a character serving its function. i've been playing Pokemon since i was 7 years old and my great grandma got me both Red and Blue because she didn't know which one i'd prefer. for me personally it was Blue almost solely because of Meowth, i like cats and it was cute and had an adorable cry. i just happened to luck out it became a major part in the show. things got a bit tiring once there was over 700 Pokemon to choose from, and playing SM/USUM the realization hit me that these are just characters that serve virtually no purpose, have very little in terms of personality and all serve as a means for marketing and give menial entertainment value. i may be a bit jaded, but i'm not upset some of my old favorites throughout the series are removed. such as but not limited to; Blastoise, Dewgong, Nidoking and Queen, Dodrio, Dragonite, Meganium, Dunsparce, Jumpluff, Girafarig, Celebi, Blaziken, Mightyena, Masquerain, Aron line, Grumpig, Kecleon, Metagross, Empoleon, Purrugly, Chatot, Spiritomb, Electivire, Honchkrow, Floatzel, Carnivine, Samurott, Carracosta, Krookodile, Mienshao, Delphox, Pyroar, Pangoro, Furfrou, Incineroar, Oricorio, Pallosand, Minior, and LURANTIS. there's still some old favorites that are in, which is nice. but it doesn't detract from my original argument.
