So I live in nyc and went to day 1 of go fest. Here's what they had:
>Citywide-you go to Manhattan and it's basically just go fest. Shinys, bonuses, raids everywhere.
>Island park: Like go fest but the have the biomes separated and you can go to each one at any time. Basically the island is empty, until your ticket hours start then gyms, stops, and mons all spawn
Also on the island there was
>A "lounge zone" for each team. Basically a few chairs and couches under a colored tent.
>A statue for each biome (crystal, volcano, etc.)
>Charge stations
>Food trucks
>A tent to meet fucking influencers (why?)
>Pokemon stautes and people dressed as Pokemon.
>A merch tent with a fucking line that was 2+ hours wait for website merch
>tent to get your tee if your ordered one
>a million people slow walking because theyre all looking at their phone
>Cops everywhere
>a quiet tent for destiming
That's it. If I paid money to travel here I'd be furious. Especially since you get all the same in game shit during go fest.
