You are also recgonized as a powerful force in the narrative: towards the end Ghetsis takes you aside and tries to convince you to join him, because 1. he recgonizes that you will get the other dragon and will become threat no. 1 to his plans, and 2. you have the power to sway N away from Ghetsis. Whereas in Lilie, the story revolves around her and not you. You're escorting someone else who is the hero of the story. You could be erased from the story and Lilie's story would still proceed with Nebby lasering mom, not you defeating her.
