>>25252677Anon you aren't alone. The last comfy thread got me down into a dark place I haven't been in years, thinking about Pokemon and how much I long to be in the Pokemon world rather than our own. Fucking feels -- but I've come to peace with it, and now I'm along for the ride here. I love you bastards for reminding me that I CAN feel something like that.
>>25249754MAN sign me the fuck up. But like, we all can be honest here with what we've wanted since we came out of the fuckin womb and found pokemon: 3D game with a bright and shiny open world to explore, where you can follow the Routes (which are a lot bigger) that are already established, or fuck right off and see where the area will take you, full of hidden areas to explore, treasures to find, sleeping Pokemon to befriend, and all kinds of things. Where each town has its own personality and flavor and things you can participate in like basking in hot springs, making your own ash flutes, the Pokeathalon -- how about racing your Pokemon on the water like in the Lati@s movie intro? Just everything. Where you get a camera item as early as you get running shoes, and you can take photos of Pokemon and scenery and everything you want with the press of a button, and then later enter them in contests in a certain city if you're ever short on cash or just for the little sparkly camera badge that goes on your Trainer Card. Where the Pokemon Radio actually statics up in the mountains and you can get creepypasta-esque broadcasts late at night on a certain frequency... there is SO MUCH that could be done and I'm dying that we don't have that.
It would be such a massive undertaking to create, even with the modern tools we have though. But I can always hope that I'll see something like that before I kick the bucket.
