I know this sounds REALLY stupid (and it is), but I always imagined Sophocles to be transgender (FTM) and a lot of things were going my way with that anime-wise, especially since they showed everyone as a child BUT Sophocles, so I was a little sad that my dumb headacanon was ruined.
