Also, we don't know if the National Dex is completely absent in terms of data or they're simply uncatchable. Gamefreak loves future-proofing, (the walking animations in SM for example) it's a real possibility for an edited SS to save this generation. I wouldn't be surprised if additional mons were hidden away for the DP remakes.
