>Big Guy beats Gold, was extremely painfulWell, Kanto was a breeze. Came and went about as quick as a breeze at least; I wonder if all the love for GSC including a second region is Nostalgia-backed? There really isn't a ton of content there and I'd rather there were a fully fleshed out 8 Johto Gyms and balanced levelling then DAE BRCOK AND MISTY ARE BACK!!11!! but I digress
>What about the team?Grinded up using Victory Road and the surrounding areas, just selected a bunch of PC pokemon, wasn't worth catching anything in Kanto as it's all level 5-10 and most are dupes anyway.
>Kanto was easy, but what of the Mount Silver Lad?Ok, this actually was badass and why I love GSC, battling the player trainer from the previous game should have been a continued trend as the hidden 'superboss' of the series; how great would it have been if in RSE you Dive somewhere, find a hidden cave and BAM it's the trainer from GSC ready to kick your ass with Level 80 mons?
>Stop talking about game design and tell how the nuzlocke wentThe battle went fine, lost 3 of my "new" team members, totalling up the GSC Deaths to a hearty 11. But Mantine pulled thru tanking Blastoise's attacks to finish the game. Overall very happy with the Locke and looking forward to doing RSE later today.
