Not having sprites is still a bit sad, but I think that storybook artstyle worked for Rescue Team in particular.
biggest takeaway is you can't talk to Spinda as Ho-oh anymore in the plazaI also think given they didn't do any version bs, we would get the Sky version instead of, again, a Time/Darkness scenario since it's really just some extra inclusions plus the 5 episodes. (I still do wish DX included that Japanese-only video explaining how Gengar even started Team Meanies into the game though)
