>(Fire) Red
The protagonist and rival are literally called Red and Green. Red is the main thing, Green is the other one.
>(Heart) Gold
Same.
>(Alpha) Sapphire
Ruby is such an afterthought they didnt' even change some Team Aqua members' dialogue to fit Magma, and they didn't even get their own thematic base until Emerald made both the villains. In Ruby the land obsessed guys have a water cave hideout like pirates and train water pokemon for some reason, and in the remakes they made a FIRE GROUND pokemon the face of their SUBMARINE, it's so dumb.
>(Brilliant) Diamond
Legends Arceus' Spear Pillar design is actually based on Diamond's Spear Pillar, not Pearl nor Platinum's.
>White (2)
Traditonal Unova makes more sense/is less retarded, Iris improving from leader to Champion also makes more sense than her being a non-combatable NPC that becomes Champion later, and the anime trailer for BW2 shows Reshiram flying over N.
>X
The main characters are literally dressing with Xerneas and Yveltal clothes. The male is Xerneas, so X. Xerneas is also the pokemon Lysandre uses in the same game where Cyrus uses Dialga.
>(Ultra) Sun
The inspiration of the legendaries code them as thematically male and female, so the male mascot's game wins. Ultra Sun is also the game where Lysandre and Cyrus use Xerneas and Dialga.
>Sword? Shield?
I don't think anyone cares, really
>Scarlet
The garden of eden inspiration of Area Zero and Journey to the Center of the Earth vibres are obviously better fit for Scarlet paradoxes, your ride's behaviour also fits ol' Koraidon way more than the mechanical Miraidon, the contrast and progression of colors that represent the past and the future is better done in Scarlet too (start with red and orange, shut down time machine with yellow light, go to green Kitakami, then to blueberry academy, finish purple mochi maythem in the epilogue).
