>>21900715I think you can. The NPC in the dressing rooms from then on says she's there to change a cosplay Pikachu's costume. I did the cool one, got the cool Pikachu (whose nature and IVs are randomized right as you get it, so save if you care for it), and boxed it to breed later since I heard you can't evolve it.
Then I learned from the daycare man that it couldn't BREED either. Basically finding it only enabled me to search for a real Pikachu on GTS to breed. It's Static but I'm gonna be using it with a Mega Sceptile so I figure that's more useful. I don't recommend this, Manectric is probably better and less frustrating.
