Also Maxie and Archie were never really Ghetsis-tier on "let's kill the kid", not even in RSE. They see you as a strong trainer and respect you to a degree. In the RR episode they don't even go to try to stop you after you beat them, it's more like they went to check you out and probably point the way to you if you were lost. It's just that they saw each other and their rivalry autism kicked in.
