Hypnos are obviously predators, other dex entries describe how they search for prey to hypnotize. But since it only consumes their dreams I'd say it's not that bad. Still, I'm sure they have a hunting instict like all predators do. Do you think the Hypnos that are trained to work with doctors learn to supress it, or do they get to eat the patients dreams?
Also, in that one instance where a Hypno carried off a child, I think Hypno simply kept the kid like livestock. I don't think it physically harmed the child, but not having to go out to hunt every night seems very convenient. So I think Hypno just kept the kid asleep in a cave somewhere for that endless supply of dreams. Hypnos can be very dangerous pokemon, but I don't think they're evil
