If you really want a May, the first thing you're going to is trade up. List your Darkrai, Greninja, Absol, and Gyarados on Pokehub (first), and then list them on Poketrade. You're going to list them seeking May, Lisia, Copycat, Cyrus, and Mars (maybe even Red and Sabrina, but I'll talk about that after). If you can't beat the people asking for those cards, join them. Everyone is looking for something, and all of those cards are pathways to May. While you're on Poketrade, you're going to individually offer and message every single person that has May specifically listed for something that you own. See picrel for example. They'd definitely do it for Cyrus, but they might do it for Gyarados or Irida. This might seem cringe or annoying, but you're essentially a door to door salesman trying to make his commision. Ignore the people that only have Oak listed in their wants. Do this for 20 mins, or until you've messaged everyone. Poketrade only, you'll never get anywhere on Pokehub with this specific tactic.
After you've done this, join the reddit TCGP discord. You're specifically going to be looking at the Trade Forum posts to find people offering Maybait for cards that you have. You're going to be looking out for things like "LF RR Greninja" or "LF Offers", and "FT Copycat". Be nice and don't sperg out if things don't go your way, because you cannot get banned. You need to check every post that seems like they might have Maybait in them, because you need to trade up for that. Don't take any 2:1 deals from anyone, (unless they're your friends here on /vp/ :^)), you're looking to do a 1:1 trade with someone desperate for something that you've acquired. It could be a DX Lillie, a Cyrus, or whatever.
After you've spent an hour looking at forum posts, go back to Poketrade and repeat until May (2000 post limit)
