Can't believe some random NPC managed to pull of Clay's Excadrill setup better than Clay himself did. Genuinely terrifying thing to fight and sent Bambi to see his mom, thank god that I'm still in the rainy season so Feral could prevent a sweep. I've also just accepted that this is the game where I use the neglected Gen 5 stuff (at least campaign-wise) after using the A-listers in my last BW run.
Brycen got swept by Yankee, why are Ice-type gymleaders always so underwhelming?
I also caught an encounter both outside and inside Dragonspiral tower, which thinking back on I don't really agree with but I'm now not sure about which to keep. Druddigon was caught first, but it was also a guaranteed encounter because of dupes/champs clause which I usually try to avoid when possible. Golett was genuinely the first encounter inside the tower, and thus the first encounter that wasn't guaranteed but I technically didn't encounter it first. What do you guys think?
>>57644898What game are you playing? Only game I've ever had real problems staying under level cap was SwSh and that gives you new encounters near trainer level so they can easily fall in.
>>57644679You can fight Norman underlevelled since you can just skip there straight from Flannery (and Truant is easy to cheese). The few trainers in the desert really shouldn't put you over the level cap though, and I've also never had issues being overlevelled by the time you get to Winona. Most of the content between those gyms is optional so you can just do them if you still need the levels.
