More proof that gimmickshitters don't actually play the game. There's no debate that Pokemon would be better off if they stopped doing gimmicks altogether and just made more megas. The only one sperging and desperately trying to claim otherwise or conflate megas with the regional nuke gimmicks is you.
GameFreak does not give a shit what you think. As far as things go, Megas were a great addition that have become integral to the core experience which is why the traditional style games have kept them. SM, USUM, and SWSH are as good as spinoffs which is why they didn't go for the traditional style and came up with their gimmicks to make them stand out.
