They're actually hilarious. For any anon's that missed the craze in their childhood (or didn't have sensationalist parents), Pokemon came under attack by dozens and dozens of preachers and televangelists, which spawned some amazing idiotic arguments against pokemon. I've been on the hunt for books from the late 90s and early 00s for a while that outline this beautiful era in human history, and I recently got my hand on these two books. By anon's request I can post some of my favorite passages so far, let me tell you, it gets pretty great.
But otherwise, how about a good old thread on the era. Got any fun stories related to religious conflict involving pokemon?
