>>54966924>HZ is bringing us back to OS and DP kino where they go further into the individual pokemonThis is so incorrect it's funny. Sprigatito has no personal objective or interest outside of being Liko's Pokemon. Roy's Fuecoco hasn't had a single decisive victory or moment of growth. Pikachu is completely one-note, just cool and powerful. Friede's Charizard is LITERALLY the most shameless form of 'obligatory strong Charizard' that the series has seen so far.
HZ spends more time jabbering about lore, jobs, anxieties, and backstories of human characters than any other series. Your assertion that HZ focuses more on Pokemon than previous series falls apart immediately when you compare Liko and Roy's starters to Goh's Scorbunny. Within 30 episodes, Scorbunny was given heaps of time to change, with its attitude as a Raboot fluidly growing and lessening as Goh learned to stop being such a needy cunt. Meanwhile, Sprigatito and Fuecoco are exactly where they started as characters, 30 episodes later.
