A Staraptor maybe, but those are bound to be agressive and terretorial, so it´d be hard to have one.
If i´d live by the sea, Lanturn, or chinchou would be a top pick too. i love swimming and diving, but as i can hardly go to any big lakes or the ocean at my current home town, id feel bad for it to be caught up in his pokeball all day long or even be outside without water.
Absol. Definitly would try to get one of them. Having some sort of guard for my family and someone my kids could play and hug with while im at work and their mother is working, too.
Joltik. One or two Joltik. They are super cute, and iirc they feed off berries and eletricity, and as someone who loves technic, they´d have a nice home to stay, and could help fend of mosquitoes.
