I hit a hard bump where I was really shitty at this for a really long time- I got overly ambitious and ended up making them look bad in the process. I think I'm recovering, though, largely by cooling down the ambition.
There was also a pretty big Internet community for this stuff years ago. One of the worst communities I've ever stumbled upon- and I'm typing that on fucking /vp/.
