>>51257192You get sent after Archie, who revives Kyogre. He gives the option to betray Maxie, but it's more like overthrowing him than joining Aqua. You catch Groudon when the two go to fight at Sootopolis, Maxie runs off, Courtney completely turns on him and acts like he's the ultimate evil for some reason, you chase after him for a while until you eventually get him in a cave, then you collapse the cave around him. Boom, Magma route done, Courtney runs around with you now and says something cute on command.
I honestly don't know what to make of this hack. It's pretty grindy for a portion of it, then you're suddenly 20 levels higher than the gym. Then some gyms just have different types for whatever reason, like Juan is suddenly Water despite the gym still being based around Ice, or Winona who's Grass but still has the Flying aesthetic. Add on random shit like Dawn replacing May because she's the author's waifu, and getting jumpscared by an Unovan Nurse Joy on the way into a Center so she can follow you and end up on another romance questline, and it really does feel like something that's come to be from the creator throwing on as much as he could think of onto his hack.
I can only imagine what the Team Aqua route looks like, and I don't really feel like going through it after doing the Magma route. (2/2)
