Can you give their original filenames?
I have always wondered what Pokémon the flower one was supposed to represents. Bulbasaur, Oddish?
Here is a little compare of both, few were remaked indeed (Pikachu).
Pikachu also had additional overworld sprites while surfing in Yellow.
Do you know if there is somewhere a list which icon correspondends to what Pokémon in R/G/B, Yellow and G/S/C?
If not I'll perhaps check every Pokémon (glitches included) and do such a list.
