Why would I spend hours carefully picking which Pokémon to evolve if I can already take down whole gyms alone with whatever top 3 Pokémon I currently own and if I put one of those to guard a gym, they will get knocked out eventually, so why does it matter.
Legit question, I've been playing a lot more in the last month and I would like to improve but I don't understand this yet.
