Most of the best RPGs are stupid linear and railroaded: Final fantasy I, IV, IX and X (the most obvious one), almost all RPGs from atlus (SMT, Persona, Etrian Odyssey and Disgaea series) or Bravely default/second give you almost no fucking choice on the order in which you approach the game challenges and you would need to be a fucking retard to call all those game bad for it
