>>40326921I don't know, you tell me.
I have spent 5 figures on Pokémon every year for 14 of the last 15 years (totaling close to a quarter million spent between October 2004 and July 2018) which I'm now saving the majority of by not buying anything Pokémon until the main series is set on the correct path again.
I've also got 5 figures into just one of over 6 dozen accounts on an MMO.
I further literally spent over 2K on the Switch just at release as I bought two for myself and one for my brother as well as a couple games and several accessories and have since also bought a Lite and more joycon because the first ones died (which is also, by the way, the reason I didn't buy a grey light as well as my yellow one - I may not have money issues but I'm not into wasting money either, I'm not replacing a whole system every time it dies, the Joycon are ridiculous enough).
I currently have over 150 games on the system mostly because I need something to replace Pokémon which was 8 - 24 hours of my day every day from December '98 to ~August 2014 and about 6 - 8 hours a day every day from September 2014 to June 2018. It's actually much more expensive to keep myself in games to play because rather than just buying 4 copies of Pokémon and a handful on the side, I'm now having to purchase 4 - 6 other games a month (more if I also buy them on PC despite the fact that portable too good so I haven't played it since I found out Xenoverse 2 was coming to it in June 2017 and that was the last game I cared about at the time I was still playing on PC - have a backlog of several hundred but thanks to Pokémon I never had time to play it and now many of them are on Switch already too so I don't have to go back).
